This pipe has ridiculously thick walls near the heel, and feels really good in the hand because of the shape and the rustication. I consider it a brandy shape but I'm sure there are more precise designations out there. The shank is oval in cross section. Lucite stem with silver A logo. Accepts 9mm filter, comes with correct adapter. Factory silver band marked Ascorti 800 presumably .800 sterling silver. I purchased it as an estate and smoked mostly Boswell and Uhle's aromatics in it.
